Hello.... My name is Mark Obuchowski. I'm a long time supporter of local
music (both as a musician and a listener) And a local Urbana resident
for over 30 yrs now. I am also the original drummer for a local
rock-a-billy band from the 80's Big Daddy Sun and the Outer Planets. We
are having a 30 yr reunion gig this coming July at the Channing Murray
Foundation (corner of Oregon and Goodwin St)

BDS was a hot act in and around CU and Chicago club scene and through
out the Midwest. BDS frequented clubs such as the Cubby Bear, Misfits,
Fitzgerald's. We did gigs at Park West and Chicago Feast too.

My question is ...can you put this event on your e-mail distribution
list?  Here are the event specifics.

*What:* Big Daddy Sun and the Outer Planets 30 yr Reunion gig
*When:* Friday July 3, 2009 time to be announced but likely around 8:00 PM
*Where:* Channing Murray Foundation (Red Herring Room) 1209 West Oregon
St, Urbana IL

*The Band:*  Ron "Big Daddy" Cannon Guitar and vocals
                  Moe Nelson  up right bass and vocals
                  Urban Djin   guitar and vocals

Other guest players may join us too.. for two sets of classic
rock-a-billy many original tunes from our album recorded and produced
here in Urbana at the original Pogo Recording studio (Mark Ruble engineer)
