Considered the "Johnny Appleseed" of North American free improvisation,
Pennsylvania-based saxophonist Jack Wright, has for over thirty years
inspired and challenged players and audiences alike with his brand of
sound-oriented high energy music which utilizes space, texture, and
sustained tones.  Jack Wright will be performing at the Iron Post on
Wednesday, May 28th at 7PM as a duo with his son, bassist Ben Wright.
Joining them separately and in collaboration is Urbana Champaign's
ambient, avant world trio Ferrocene3 featuring Jason Finkelman on laptop
electronics + percussion, Jay Eychaner on synthesizer, and Nick Rudd on
electric guitar.
