Making their Urbana Champaign debut, the ambient avant world trio*
Straylight* features NYC-based guitarist and Blue Man Group zither
player* Geoff Gersh* who masterfully executes extended guitar
techniques, Philadelphia-based* Charles Cohen* who is singularly
interested in collaborative live performance and improvisation, whose
instrument is the Buchla Music Easel, an extremely rare integrated
analog performance instrument obtained from synth pioneer Don Buchla in
1976, and Urbana-based* Jason Finkelman,* a percussive sound explorer
since 1987.
Together as Straylight, they have been improvising and creating music
