trio, features FRANK TROMPETER on tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones,
MARK SCHWARTZ on prepared guitar, bass, and electronics, and RICHARD
GILMAN-OPALSKY on drums and percussion. END TIMES TRIO plays dynamic
improvised music that treads sonic terrain from sparse and melodic to

Emerging out of Urbana Champaign's improvised music community is
FERROCENE 3, an ambient, avant world trio featuring Jason Finkelman
(laptop electronics + percussion), Jay Eychaner (synthesizer), and Nick
Rudd (electric guitar).  A founding member of the improvising ensembles
Nu Orbit and Straylight, percussionist Jason Finkelman embraces
FERROCENE 3 as a vehicle to explore sonic manipulations of his own
organic sounds through laptop performance.  Long time collaborator Jay
Eychaner adds his signature blend of textured electronic murmur with a
fastidious approach to tone and Nick Rudd, founding member of prog rock
duo Water Between Continents, weaves sustained tones and extended guitar
techniques into the mix.
