The Urbana Park District is still looking for a few performers for the
3rd annual Meadowbrook Park Jazz Walk on Friday, September 14th. I'm
looking for jazz musicians to play at 5-6 unplugged stations next to
sculptures throughout the small loop of the Wandell Sculpture Garden at
Meadowbrook Park. They can be soloists, duos, small combos.... whatever
you like. The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a rain date of the
next night at the same time (we need you to reserve both nights). I have
honorariums to pay each musician.

Currently we have two sponsors lined up, The Iron Post and Cinema
Gallery. We are definitely looking for more cash sponsors to be able to
pay more musicians.

chairs needed and will assign players to locations on a first-come
first-serve basis. This event was a great success last year with over
800 people attending and we're looking forward to a great evening.

Again, I only need about 6 groups/artists total, so please respond
quickly if you'd like to play.
