The Urbana Park District is still looking for a few performers for the 
2nd annual Meadowbrook Park Jazz Walk on Friday, September 15th. I'm 
looking for jazz musicians to play at 5-6 unplugged stations next to 
sculptures throughout the small loop of the Wandell Sculpture Garden at 
Meadowbrook Park. They can be soloists, duos, small combos.... whatever 
you like. The event is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a rain date of the next 
night at the same time (we need you to reserve both nights). I have 
honorariums to pay each musician. I am also still looking for a full 
band for the main stage of the event at the start of the walk.

Our sponsor is the C-U Gallery Guild, a coalition of gallery owners 
throughout town that includes:
Boneyard Pottery - Verde Gallery - Cinema Gallery - Wind, Water & Light 
- GlassFX - LaPayne Photography - Framer's Market - Griggs Street 
Potters - International Galleries

chairs needed and will assign players to locations on a first-serve 
basis. This event was a lovely success last year with over 500 people 
attending and we're looking forward to a great evening.

Again, I only need about 6 groups/artists total, so please respond 
quickly if you'd like to play.
